Quality Assurance Assistant
Job Responsibilities:
- Travel with the Sr. Field QA Agent when assistance is needed.
- Audit all Suppliers’ production-related paperwork and maintain complete and accurate copies for QA Operation records.
- Assist in writing and maintaining filling and assembly instructions.
- Assist QAE in writing standard operating procedures and product specifications.
- Assist with reviewing and developing Quality Assurance documentation.
- Trend analysis and other activities as required by the Director of Quality Assurance.
- Support Manufacturing through timely process of deviations, change controls, CAPA complaint handling, and investigations to ensure quality products.
- Work on multiple projects at once with changing deadlines and priorities.
- Additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Quality Assurance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or related field a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and computer skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to read and interpret packaging drawings, codes, standards and specifications for primary and secondary components.
- Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure.
- Reliable transportation a must.
- Ability to get along with different personalities.
- Desire to work in an office setting as this position is not laboratory focused.
Preferred Experience but Not Required:
- Experience in product assembly.
- Experience working in a laboratory or process manufacturing setting.
- Experience working in a regulated environment.
- Working knowledge of FDA GMPs.
- Proficient with measurement devices such as calipers and other basic lab tools.
