Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist/Manager

Noah Chemicals is a leading specialty chemical company, and we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance and Compliance Specialist. In this role, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and Compliance of our products, processes, and operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve our standards, while also ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Responsibilities Include:

Quality Control Management:

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to ensure the consistent quality of our products.
  • Conduct routine inspections, tests, and analyses to assess product quality and identify any deviations or non-conformities.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address any quality-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of quality control activities, test results, and related documentation.

Compliance Monitoring:

  • Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, industry standards, and best practices to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance with quality control processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address any compliance gaps.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory reports, certifications, and documentation as required.

Process Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve quality control procedures and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and standardization of quality control activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and ensure their successful integration into daily operations.

Training and Education:

  • Provide training and guidance to employees on quality control procedures, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of quality and Compliance awareness by organizing workshops, seminars, and training sessions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on quality control and Compliance-related matters, providing guidance and support to teams across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality control and Compliance within the chemical industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Familiarity with analytical techniques, instrumentation, and laboratory procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyze complex data and identify trends or patterns.
  • Proficient in using quality management systems and software.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Review all PO’s/Modifications for accuracy and approval
  • Responsible for submitting invoices for the project
  • UCNI/OUO/CUI Training Coordinator
  • Conduct quarterly inventories (~4 hours required to complete)
  •  Work with other internal Departments on the following inspections/certifications/training:
  • RSPA HazMat Certification
  • Sam.gov Renewal (Annual)
  •  Annual Tier 2 Report
