Tetra Tech's commitment to hiring the best talent in the industry and helping them thrive professionally is stronger than ever. We are currently seeking aQuality Assurance candidate for our Alburquerque, NM location.
Responsibilities:
• Extensive knowledge of Quality Assurance programs and requirements for DOE nuclear facilities. Working level knowledge of ASME NQA-1, Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facility Applications and its application to new projects and design activities.
• Practical experience applying NQA-1 to projects within the DOE Order 413.3B-Program and Project Management for Acquisition of Capital Assets framework.
• Position will require strong technical writing skills and ability to work with diverse set of customers. Ability to provide Quality Assurance analysis across a broad spectrum.
• Must possess skills in expressing technical concepts clearly in writing and verbally when diplomacy is required to provide input for improvement and/or concerns.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of B.S. in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or related technical field, capable of managing multiple programs simultaneously.
• Minimum of an engineering degree and five years directly relevant experience with Quality Assurance requirements for nuclear facilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office, strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.
• Must have or be capable of obtaining a DOE Q-clearance.
• A pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required, along with a physical if needed.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
