ABOUT THE JOB
Our Team:
The QC Micro team in Pearl River is a diverse group of individuals, with varying degrees of experience, who are Quality-orientated and can continuously deliver high-quality results while remaining compliant with the changing regulations associated with the pharmaceutical industry. We are singularly focused on delivering the safest product to our end-user (the patient) in an efficient and compliant manner. This is a dynamic and flexible group, capable of switching gears, at a moment's notices.
Main Responsibilities:
Bioburden/ Microbial Enumeration, Endotoxin, Microbial Identification/ Streaking Techniques, Growth Promotion, BCA, TOC and Conductivity Testing
Plate reading, sample release, paperwork, data review and data input into computerized systems.
Additional duties will include:
Review and creation of standard operating procedures.
Data entry/ data analysis of all sample results (EM and Utilities Testing, In-Process and Batch-Related).
Receipt and storage of all samples coming into the QC Micro Lab.
Assist management with investigations/ CAPA's/ Change Controls, as needed.
Development into duties beyond those described is possible for more qualified candidates based on the business needs and candidate's background.
ABOUT YOU
Education: Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a Science discipline: Chemistry, Biochemistry, Microbiology or Pharmacy
Experience: Academic experience in Microbiological Testing preferred.
Technical Skills: Aseptic Technique,
Soft Skills: Strong work ethic, self-starter, critical thinking

The salary range for this position is $63,375.00 to $84,500.00 USD Annual. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
