Port Health’s mission is to improve the lives, health and well-being of individuals and families dealing with substance use and mental health disorders. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Qualified Professional to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary Outpatient Therapy team designed to provide crisis interventions and support to adults and youths.

What You’ll Do

As the Qualified Professional, you will work as part of a team to provide stabilization and treatment services to individuals with mental health and substance abuse issues. These services may include screening, evaluation, assessment, treatment, follow-up and after-care, and communication to and from referral services for adults and youths in need of outpatient treatment. Group facilitation skills needed.

How You’ll Benefit

You’ll earn a competitive salary between $19 and 22/hour depending on skills and experience.This full-time position offers a flexible scheduleMonday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm. We also offer benefits to those regularly working 30 hours or more per week.

What We’re Looking For

To join our team as the Qualified Professional you must have in-depth knowledge of different therapeutic approaches and group techniques as well as their practical application, possess top-tier communication skills, be adept at problem solving and de-escalation in times of crisis, and be able to provide on-call support. We also require:

  • Full or provisional Substance Abuse licensure or certification: LCAS, CCS, CSAC
  • Experience in SAIOP & SACOT group therapy facilitation preferred
  • Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
