The successful candidate will maintain high levels of manufacturing quality, identifying areas for improvement while ensuring conformance to regulatory and AS/ISO standards. The role involves providing technical expertise in close collaboration with all functions including Quality, Engineering, Production and Sales.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Willingness to learn
- Respond to Customer requests for surveys and compliance documents.
- First Article & AQL component testing of finished product
- Ability to use calibrated hand tools
- Ability to read detailed drawings, schematics, specifications.
- Analyze magnetic components and assemblies using machines such as Wayne Kerr, LCR meters, etc.
- Support Production by performing in-process inspections and identifying nonconforming parts.
- Trouble Shooting, post manufacturing
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Able to follow detailed work instructions
- Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong computer skills with Adobe and MS Office (e.g., Word, Excel).
- Knowledge of basic manufacturing processes.
- Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- After training, the individual will be expected to work with minimal up‐front guidance.
- Preferred experience within magnetics or electronics space.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Standards is a plus.
EDUCATION & BACKGROUND:
Higher secondary education is preferred, or a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the required skills needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
