Qc Lab Coordinator I

As the QC Lab Coordinator, you will support the Quality Control department in meeting their goals and accountabilities by trending department data and reporting key metrics. You will manage scheduling and coordinate with other departments to ensure timelines are maintained. You will also perform LIMS and ERP transactions, coordinate with external vendors, and assist with creating, updating, and reviewing supporting QC documentation.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Perform statistical analysis and trending of lab data and report metrics.
• Coordinate and communicate all scheduling for the QC department.
• Manage LIMS lot initiation and closure and update ERP system.
• Author and update supporting QC documents.
• Coordinate raw material testing.
• Coordinate external contract laboratory testing.

This is an excellent opportunity to apply your knowledge of quality principles and methods in a fast-paced environment. To qualify for this role you’ll need the following:

• High school diploma
• Bachelor’s Degree in life science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of experience in chemical or microbiological lab applications, chemical manufacturing, or quality assurance function.
• Practical writing and reviewing experience.
• Effective computer skills with experience in word processing, spreadsheets, laboratory information management system (LIMS), and ERP software.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• GMP laboratory and FDA regulated industry experience a strong plus!
