Qc Analytical Chemist

4 month contract with ability to be extended

MUST HAVES: Industry experience with HPLC, RAW MATERIALS TESTING, KNOWLEDGE OF USP

Description:

This candidate will be responsible for QC Testing of their raw materials. In this role, the testing will be solely focused on the raw materials, not in-process or finished goods testing.

- Perform in-process, routine chemical testing of raw materials

- Testing utilizing HPLC, FTIR, UV/VIS, Karl Fischer

- Wet Chemistry testing (Titration, Acid Value, Identification by wet chem, TLC, Iodine value, LOD, ROI etc.)

- Assure calibrations, standards, log books and other GMP compliance activities are performed in the laboratory

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

All candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in raw material testing by following compendial test methods (USP, FCC, EP)

Must have prior experience in executing testing by using UV-Vis, FTIR, Auto titrator, HPLC

Must have experience in executing general wet chemistry (Titration, Acid Value, Identification by wet chem, TLC, Iodine value, LOD, ROI etc.)

Must have prior experience working cGMP environment
