QA/QC Specialist
Summary
We are looking for a skilled QA/QC Specialist who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and quality control within the construction industry and well as have a high level understanding of HVAC and Plumbing installation and operation. You will focus on maintaining high standards, adhering to project specifications, and implementing best practices throughout the construction process.
Job Responsibilities
- Review or develop site specific QA/QC Plan and ITP Plan
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address quality-related challenges and implement effective solutions
- Completes QA/QC documentation to be included in turnover packages
- Offer guidance to construction teams to ensure continuous improvement in quality performance
- Establish and enforce quality control measures to identify and resolve issues during construction, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry
- 10+ years of mechanical/plumbing installation, service, or Commissioning
- Certified Weld Inspector Certification preferred, not required
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to travel throughout different projects
