If you are an Operator looking to expand your skill set and experience level, this is a great role for you! This position is responsible for ensuring the generation of accurate, timely and cost-effective analytical data used to support environmental decision making. Responsible for QA/QC of all inbound and outbound waste. Also performs routine maintenance on lab equipment as well as calibrations on equipment. Maintains databases of all materials tested. Responsibilities:

1. Perform basic analysis on waste material and record results into the database.
2. Conduct sampling and testing of chemical waste for compliance with regulatory standards.
3. Conduct audits to ensure compliance and address any discrepancies.
4. Routine calibration and calibration checks of all lab equipment
5. Review and approve supplier materials by confirming quality standards and chemical properties.
6. Investigate any incidents of non-compliance or quality concerns.
7. Monitor and evaluate internal operations to ensure quality standards are met.
8. Maintain accurate documentation of QC tests, results, and corrective actions taken.
9. Communicate QA/QC procedures and updates.
10. Recommend and implement improvements to QA/QC processes.
11. Ensure that work area is clean, secure and well maintained
12. Prepare regular reports on QA/QC activities and findings.
