What you'll do
- Inspect aerospace and commercial CNC machined parts to verify configuration to blueprints, drawings, and/or customer specifications
- Work with complex measurements and FAI reports.
- Use Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerance
- Measure dimensions of products to verify conformance to specifications, using measuring instruments such as CMM, rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
- Read blueprints, work orders, part lists, or other materials to determine specifications are being met.
- Convert data into FAI's via Net-Inspect or AS9102 Forms
- Program simple programs from provided drawings and/or models
What you'll bring
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience with Aerospace Inspection required
- 4+ years of quality assurance inspection.
- Knowledge of paint thickness.
- Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing skills.
- Familiar with and able to operate CMM and knowledge of current software
