This position will assist the Quality Assurance Manager in quality control and quality assurance during production. This person will spend most of their time on the production floor.
A day in the life: What you do
Pre-operation inspections
Monitoring Critical control points
Raw & Finished product evaluation (code dates, weight, quality, etc.)
Verifying labels
Performing shelf-life evaluations
Monitoring GMP & Safety compliance of employees in production
Adhering to GSFI policies and procedures
Must always work safely and comply with all safety policies and procedures
Compliance with Wild Leaf Beverage policies and procedures
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: What you know
HS Diploma or equivalent
Must be detailed oriented and have excellent follow-up skills
Must demonstrate basic math skills
Must be proficient in reading and writing
Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include some holidays and weekends
