Description:

As a Quality Assurance Specialist this candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Coordinating, participate, and conduct internal, external, and customer audits for regulatory compliance such as GMP, ISO 9001:2015, FSSC 22000, HACCP, etc. utilizing CAPA systems.

• Coordinate with Quality Engineering, Production Management, and Quality Control to address and resolve customer complaints.

• Working with key personnel to assist in the identification of root cause and support corrective action for findings in regulatory compliance.

• Tracking and trending Quality data. Identifying and developing actionable Quality Metrics for quality assurance.

• Driving continuous improvement of established Quality systems.

• Tracking and monitoring customer complaints in the system to ensure timely and accurate responses.

• Fostering positive working relationships with internal and external customers to meet the responsibilities of the position.

• Be the Voice of the Customer (VOC) for the assigned process area

Audit, FSSC, ISO, SQF, Quality Assurance, FDA, Food Manufacturing, Document Control, Regulatory, GMP, Quality Management System, Food Safety, HAACP

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Have:

1) B.S. Degree (Life Science Preferred)

2) 3+ year of experience with ISO, FSSC, and GMP standards

3) Prior experience managing or assisting with internal audits

4) Strong communication skills, as this person will be working with all departments within the plant

5) Proficient computer skills in applications like MS Office Suite or any QMS.

Nice To Have:

1) Food manufacturing experience

2) Certified Quality Auditor, LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt, SQF Certified, etc.
