If so, the SC Department of Social Serviceshas the right job opportunity for you!Job Duties:* The QA Reviewer performs the duties required to ensure program quality and compliance through the case review process. Reviews QA/CQI regional activities to ensure compliance and effectiveness within DSS as part of overall Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI).* Serves, as needed, as a team member conducting Quality Assurance Reviews of the Department of Social Services caseworker files.
Reviews case files and electronic databases to rate items on the instrument. Follows established protocol; interviews DSS staff and other stakeholders as necessary to gather additional information needed to complete item ratings; documents findings on the QA instrument or other online instruments; completes paperwork related to the reviewed case.* Review, as needed, a team's completed CFSR QA instrument to ensure that the QA team has completed the instrument with accuracy and consistency. Utilize the on-line resources, briefs, and FAQs to provide case specific feedback to the teams, on-site leads, and/or management staff as required.* Participate in special projects as requested.* Assist in guidance and technical assistance to state, regional, and county staff related to QA directed towards improving the quality and availability of children's services.* Perform Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.Minimum and Additional RequirementsAgency RequirementsA Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of professional experience in social services programs, correctional, education, business administration, general administrative management, or relevant program experience.A Master's degree and three (3)years of professional experience in social services programs, correctional, education, business administration, general administrative management, or relevant program experience.Additional CommentsThis application for employment with the SC Department of Social Services must be completed in its entirety.A resume may be included; but shall not be substituted in lieu of the completion of this application in part or in whole.
