Overview
The QA & PMO Analyst provides project and process support to CSS/Evolver/SBD's Quality Assurance & Program Management Office (QA & PMO). The QA & PMO Analyst provides assistance to Project Managers with project management activities including reporting, scheduling, coordinating and information management. The QA & PMO Analyst also provides assistance to the QA & PMO leadership with corporate, ISO, and CMMI process compliance and internal audit activities.
This is a hybrid role requiring 1-2 days per week in our Reston, VA office
Responsibilities
- Maintain internal Project Management Office (PMO) schedule, including scheduling and tracking of Monthly Management Review (MMR) reports and meetings, as required.
- Coordinate with Project Managers and BU leadership for submission of required reports, project metrics and project artifacts.
- Assist project managers and QA & PMO leadership with lifecycle management activities for each project including project kick-off, project tailoring, project metrics management, and ongoing deliverable management as assigned.
- Assist project managers with establishing and maintaining project repository and associated internal and contract-required documentation.
- Assist with ongoing quality management activities, including audit planning and coordination.
- Assist with project, process and other internal audits including QA of QA as required by CSS/Evolver/SBD Quality Management System.
- Assist PM's and QA & PMO leadership with tracking and follow-up of corrective actions, as needed.
- Assist with Quality related communications to different stakeholders within the company.
- Assist with Quality related trainings to PMs, Process Managers and other stakeholders.
- Conduct QA & PMO orientation in the absence of QA & PMO leadership.
- Assist with periodic review/audit of process artifacts and templates released in PMO site including PAL.
- Assist in compilation of metrics and other data from projects and processes and analyze for reporting to management.
- Coordinate with QA & PMO Leadership to track process improvement & document change requests and reach out to the requester(s) for additional information if needed.
- Assist QA & PMO Leadership with external audits/appraisal scheduling and organizational coordination.
- Assist QA & PMO Leadership with conducting lessons learned sessions, exercises on process improvement related projects/tasks etc.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required or at least 5 years of equivalent experience may be substituted for a degree.
- 2 years of experience with QMS
- 2 years of experience in process management
- 2 years of experience supporting project management and IT lifecycle management concepts
- Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years of experience with QMS
- 3 years of experience in process management
- 3 years of experience supporting project management and IT lifecycle management concepts
- 2 Years of experience with SMS, ISMS & CMMI
- ISO Internal Auditor Certificate a plus but not required.
- CMMI Associate Certificate a plus but not required.
- Must have an impeccable work ethic, the ability to make sound decisions, and a commitment to integrity and accountability.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically, Excel, Word, and Outlook a must. Familiarity with SharePoint a plus.
