• Maintains knowledge of mechanical systems, critical thinking skills, and proficiency with basic to complex inspection measurement equipment, including microscopes, optical comparator, and coordinate measurement equipment to set up and verify dimensions and geometric tolerances for compliance.
• Utilizes critical thinking skills and proficiency with basic to complex inspection measurements.
• Performs First Article, dimensional reports, and Q-Notes.
• Manages priorities and workflow in a rapidly changing environment.
• Uses computer to document quality records.
• Works with minimal supervision.
• Interacts effectively with team members, Purchasing, Receiving, Engineering, R & D, Planning, and Production groups to resolve issues.
• Suggests process improvement.
• Mentors and provides training to inspectors as needed.

Required Experience and Education

• Associate's degree or 5+ year's equivalent experience required.
• Experience with Zeiss CMM, Calypso Programming
• Knowledge of GDT preferred or relative experience required.
• Automated equipment (CMM, Vision Systems) operation experience required; programing experience preferred.
• Must works independently and efficiently.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Good organizational skills.

Shift and Hours

Second Shift: 1:30 pm - 10:00 pm
