This role offers the expectation of springboarding one's career in the QA discipline. As a QA Tester, you will work within an agile Engineering Team rapidly iterating via continuous delivery in pursuit of the most intelligent robotics systems for our customers. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with roboticists, software and machine learning developers, researchers, product managers, and mechanical engineers to design, build, and support software features, across multiple codebases, for robot control, motion planning, perception, sensor fusion, human-robot interaction, performance analysis, and device drivers. With a focus on safety, usability, scalability, and maintainability, you'll test these features in our lab, control release management, and contribute to deployment, experimentation, monitoring, and optimization of Ocado's fleet of robots in production.
In this role, you will be hands on with our robots which requires that you be in-office 100% of the time.

- Review and analyze specification for changes to both Hardware and Software systems
- Develop effective strategies and test plans
- Create and execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
- Report bugs and errors to development teams
- Help troubleshoot issues
- Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
- Ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Strategize for risk mitigation of production implementations
- Design and execute both internal and production experimentation
- Present test results to stakeholders
