Qa Inspector

Requirements

· High school graduate or equivalent

· Minimum 2 year experience in manufacturing environment

· *Ability to accurately use measuring devices

· **Ability to document, record, and keep accurate test records

· ***Ability to create and store records - (Document control)

· Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.

· Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings.

· Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision.

· Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.

Standard work schedule is Monday – Friday 8 hours. 6:00 A.M - 2:30 P.M. Overtime may be required at times.

Training Requirements

• Quality System Awareness.

· Some physical exertion required

· Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and occasionally bend and move about the facility.

Personal Protection Equipment

· Safety Glasses required while performing specific tasks.

· Hearing protection required in designated areas.

· Exposed to dust, odors, fumes and noise.

MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Inspect products using gauges prior to shipment.

2. Generate spreadsheets to collect and record data.

3. Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.

4. Interact with Government Source Inspector as needed.

5. Test incoming raw materials.
