The company markets its products to numerous industries including automotive, die mold, aerospace, energy, heavy industry and dental.
We are seeking a QA Inspector Ito join our growing team! In this role, your purpose is to assure the customer receives a quality tool. This position reports to the Quality Control Systems Manager.
Job Functions for a QA Inspector I:
- Identify and segregate visual defects during visual inspection
- Perform middle/final inspection dimensional and hardness checks
- Preparation of paperwork to document inspection in accordance with sampling plan
- Create inspection reports for external customers
- Perform incoming inspection on regrinds and tooling
- Incoming surface treatment inspection
- Scanning/ending production orders
- Stocking and managing of shim material for rack dies
- Ability to read and understand all geometry on manufacturing prints
- Ability to understand and identify correct manufacturing routes
- Start training on ISO, 5S, Kaizen, and JQA quality system
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications for a QA Inspector I:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Familiar with measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)
- Intermediate computer skills (MS Office)

Compensation type:
- Hourly + monthly bonus potential
Job Type: Full-time, non-exempt
Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Compensation: Starting at $17/hr dependent on experience
