QA Engineering Lead Responsibilities
- Execute manual and write automated tests, and identify actionable bugs quickly.
- Manage QA coverage of multiple web and mobile based projects.
- Planning/organizing necessary test passes, staying on top of all important issues, help triaging bugs and driving issues to resolutions and keeping everyone aware of QA status.
- Work with different teams (Engineering/PM/Operation) to collect necessary information to assure the QA coverage, and also provide feedback on quality issues.
- Work with onsite and offshore team to set their priorities and remove their roadblocks to make sure sufficient coverage is done for the release.
- Assess the status of the release, and help make sure that the release goes out on time with high quality level.
- Create and support test dashboards/reports.
- Drive testability and ensure quality of releases.
- Responsible for design, creation, and integration testing of assigned components/modules and for qualifying the product usability in each new build and phase.
- Design and write test Automation for web and mobile.
- Using data tools, write complex SQL queries to query data for test strategy decisions.
- Salary: $213,934.00/year to $222,492.00/year + bonus + equity + benefits Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Minimum Qualifications
- Requires a Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Requires two years of experience in the following:
- Quality Assurance in testing web or mobile applications
- Test and tool development methodology
- Java, PHP, Ruby or Python
- Constructing test cases and getting them prioritized based on changes
- Writing test automation scripts
- Creating and publishing test reports
- Coordinating with onsite and offshore teams for task prioritization
- Bug triage and analysis of test case failure.
