Job Description
Normal business hours Monday-Friday 35 hours/week (not including mandatory unpaid meal break after 6 hours of work).
QA Tester
· Review business and requirements analysis documents, provide comments.
· Review Test Plans and Test Scripts provided by vendors, provide comments.
· Participate in all QA related meetings.
· Understand customer requirements, both technical and operational
Develop and execute test scripts based on the project requirements (manual and automated), log defects, and provide test reports.SCOPE OF SERVICESNYPD QA Tester

At least 8 years of experience as a QA analyst.
Experience in reviewing and understanding business and technical requirements, preparing, and executing test plans.DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
BS/BA undergraduate degree.
Experience in reviewing and understanding business and technical requirements, preparing and executing test plans
Experience reporting results using test management tools such as Jira, Client/ALM, or GitHub. Experience with all test phases of software lifecycle such as ATP, SAT, UAT, SIT
Experience with DevOps
Experience with generating detail reports Experience with testing tools
Knowledge of test automation tools
Team player who has the ability to work independently and has an experience working with remote teams.
Test documentation experience
As a tester in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), would be responsible for providing expert advice, developing and implementing GIS testing strategies, ensuring data accuracy
Understanding the role of Black box and White box testing.
