Qa Auditor

G2 seeks a candidate for the Quality Assurance Auditor role at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, TX. The position conducts comprehensive Quality Assurance audits of G2 aircraft operations for a major airline customer at George Bush Intercontinental Airport to ensure work complies with customer and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have an HS Diploma, six (6) months of lead or supervisory experience, and Microsoft Office Suites experience.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. High School diploma or equivalent

2. Six (6) months of lead or supervisory experience

3. Must be able to work a flexible schedule; some nights and weekends required

4. Microsoft Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required

5. Verbal and written communication skills

6. Must be 18 years of age or older

7. Must have reliable telephone and transportation

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

1. Minimum of two (2) years of college

2. Airline or airport experience

3. Quality assurance audit or training experience

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

1. Plans and executes operational and quality assurance observations, measuring compliance with G2 policies and procedures and customer’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

2. Performs safety observations as part of the audit process.

3. Conducts observations in process and post-process for all work related to aircraft arrivals, departures, and cabin cleaning to measure regulatory and customer Standard Operating Procedure compliance.

4. Escalates critical issues to local leaders.

5. Identifies, documents, and reports audit/observation findings and records in the company’s proprietary hand-held audit tool, including taking photos and detailed written documentation of results and successes.

6. Mentors team members and conducts “on-the-spot” positive coaching to correct deficiencies noted during observations.

7. Pull reports and share summaries with the leadership team.

8. Performs other related work as assigned by management.

9. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues, customers, and external contacts.

10. Some travel may be required, estimated at approximately 20% of the time
