This is a temp-to-hire position. The schedule is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with a ay rate of $20.07 per hour.
The individual in this role will be responsible for assisting the QA Auditor in testing incoming raw materials, in process materials and finished goods. Performing final inspection audit functions as specified by the Quality Policy Manual and Operating Procedure system procedure instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in testing raw and finished material daily.
- Reviews Coating Line logs daily.
- Assists with department logs and correspondence.
- Uses measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges to inspect finished product for conformance to specifications.
- Opens boxes of finished products to verify accordance with packaging requirements.
- Works to create and maintain Quality Records.
- Fulfills customer requests for material certification per job sheet specifications as specified by the Quality System Manual.
- Helps perform and document Final Inspections as specified by the Quality System Manual.
- Assists with identifying and retaining Nonconforming Conditions Reports (NCR?s) as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of basic computer and keyboard use.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months related experience preferably in Quality Assurance.
- Ability to enter data with accuracy.
