Studio Wildcard - QA Analyst - Remote
Studio Wildcard, creators of the smash indie hit ARK: Survival Evolved, was founded in 2014. ARK has become one of the most successful cross-platform indie titles ever and continues to break industry records. We are looking for a passionate QA Analyst who loves ARK, and has some video game QA experience to help provide support for our product worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a small team of individuals to proactively find bugs, issues and exploits in the live game.
- Coordinate between customer support, community and development teams to analyze, verify and act on bugs, issues and exploits reported by players.
- Identify issues and write clear and concise steps and descriptions to reproduce.
- Collaborate effectively with various teams including QA, Production, Art, and Design to investigate problems.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year cumulative paid game development experience as a QA Analyst or Game Moderator.
- Experience with Bug Reporting software such as Jira, or knowledge of QA Workflow.
- Proficiency using live game admin commands effectively to carry out tasks.
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capability to test that bugs have been fixed and implemented correctly.
- Deep knowledge and passion for ARK
Pluses:
- Experience working with Unreal Engine 5.
- Experience testing on console platforms.
- Any shipped title credited as QA Analyst/Game Moderator/Community Support/Customer Service.

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position vary based on a variety of factors, which include: (but aren't limited to) skills, competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. Each pay range is only relevant to those residing in WA state and can vary based on geographical location.
