Purchasing Coordinator

Job Overview:
Come join our growing team here at Westway Homes, we are a local homebuilder her in Albuquerque, NM with projects in Rio Rancho and Los Lunas, NM. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join our team!

Duties:

• Coordinate all paperwork for field superintendents and vendors.
• Process purchase orders, change orders and notices to proceed.
• Create and maintain contract files for vendors.
• Research invoice or purchase order issues as needed.
• Prepare bid package.
• Maintain plan budgets through the contract change process. Ensure all budgets and affected lots are updated according to the contract change request.
• Issue purchase orders, change order and Variance POs to vendors as requested.
• Load monthly price changes into system.
• Ensure invoice accuracy with accounting, problem-solving, and appropriate cost coding with multiple projects.
• Conduct a monthly review of rebate tracking system data.
• Utilize FAST Purchasing and Accounting systems to input received data and generate and distribute reports.
• Support the vendor payment inquiry process through the review and validation of contract status and amount.
• Report generation as assigned.
• Performs related administrative/clerical duties as assigned.
• Updating projects vendor lists
• Pricing and distributing design changes.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or proven experience as a Purchasing Coordinator or in a similar role
-Ability to analyze data.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers
-Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
