Job Type: Full Time (8 Hr Shifts)
Location: Cavalier, ND
Work Location: In Person
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Coordinate and oversee the purchasing activities of the company
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Evaluate supplier performance and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Collaborate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs and specifications
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
- Utilize ERP (Material Requisition) system to track and manage inventory
- Analyze market trends and pricing to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and delivery information
Experience:
- Prefer a Minimum of 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices
- Proven experience in contract negotiation and vendor management
- Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
The ideal candidate will have experience in the fabricating industry.
