Summary/Objective
The ability to work efficiently to achieve goals and meet deadlines is a must as this person will coordinate the entire vendor and customer credit process.
Essential Functions:
- Organize and track all vendor return credits, to include monitoring return restocking and freight charges.
- Requesting return authorization for damaged, defective, dead or overstock materials.
- Filing and follow-through freight claims for damaged, short and missing materials.
- Approve all non-stock, direct, and customer credits including restock and freight charges when necessary.
- Enter return-to-vendor purchase orders, receive, and reconcile the return.
- Track freight and restocking charges.
- Maintain defective bins at all locations and process monthly returns on schedule.
- Negotiate and resolve freight disputes and problems with preferred carrier.
- Assist buyers in coordinating monthly/semi-annual returns, ensuring correct procedures are followed.
- Develop positive relationships with vendors.
- Support all the company-endorsed product lines with focus on I-MARK manufacturers.
- Work closely with all internal departments, combining efforts to better serve the customer.
- Perform other duties as obvious or assigned.
