Purchasing Clerk

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Purchasing Clerk. The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for the processes involved in car parts inventory management, and the support of MRO and Receiving processes. Duties including, but not limited to: Reviewing OEM delivery times and communicating with receiving associates, ASRS Cycle Count Management, Supporting Receiving associate training through use of operation standards. Conducts safety audits of receiving docks, forklifts and ASRS Sensors. The successful candidate will have the ability to;

• Support the MRO Outsourcing Project including implementation. Serves as liaison between MRO Contractor and CYT
• Negotiate of all points of business, as directed and when necessary, obtains management approval, and informs appropriate departments and managers with issues affecting the production line.
• Conduct physical inventories as needed for critical items and/or problematic suppliers. Assists with quarterly physical inventory and conducts a physical inventory review within 48 hours of actual inventory process. Supports activity of identifying and resolving inventory gaps
• Travels to supplier site to Analyze issue(s) (capacity, manpower, machine, quality, etc.) by observation, time studies, or other meth0ods and generate countermeasures to prevent future issues.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.68 - $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
