Position Overview: As a Purchasing and Logistics Professional, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain operations. You will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services, overseeing the logistics and distribution functions, and providing exceptional support for our clients' part needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, supply chain management, and Logistics, along with excellent analytical and negotiation skills.
Responsibilities:
Procurement:
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong vendor relationships.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and product availability to ensure optimal purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs.
Logistics:
- Coordinate transportation, shipping, and delivery of products to meet customer expectations.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
- Streamline logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Client Support:
- Liaise with clients to understand their part needs and ensure timely fulfillment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive client relationships.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to align procurement and Logistics activities with client expectations.
Supply Chain Optimization:
- Analyze data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Implement best practices for inventory management, demand forecasting, and order fulfillment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between procurement and production.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
