First Montgomery Group is looking for a Full Time Punchlist Maintenance Technician to join our team in Cherry Hill, NJ. As a Punchlist Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing a variety of services such as general repairs, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting at our New Construction property. You will be working on a variety of different projects and have the opportunity to showcase your knowledge and expertise in the construction industry.
This is a 5-6 month engagement with the potential for a permanent role at one of our 10 multifamily properties.
Responsibilities

1. Complete and execute tasks as assigned by the Superintendent ensuring work is completed within the established time frame and budget.
2. Ability to perform general repairs and carpentry work including framing, drywall repair/replace, texture match, flooring installation, and finish work.
3. Converse with project managers to ensure their needs are being met.
4. Manage and prioritize workload and communicate progress to the Superintendent.
5. Ensure job sites are left clean and orderly at the end of the day.
6. Maintain accurate records of work completed.
7. Proactively address outstanding tasks needed for job completion.

Requirements

1. 3-5 years experience in punch list work or similar construction industry experience.
2. Possess basic computer skills for submitting electronic documentation.
3. Must provide own tools and reliable transportation.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
5. Basic understanding of building codes and safety regulations.
6. Strong communication skills, able to interact professionally with clients, vendors and employees at all levels.
7. Must be able to successfully pass a background check and pre employment drug screen and physical.
