Qualifications: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:As a PUMPING AND POWER PLANT ATTENDANT, incumbent must have the ability to do the work under close supervision of a work leader to operate a pump station and complete work assignments timely and safely. Work examples such as independently troubleshoot and take initiative to solve problems; knowledge of technical trade terminology tools and use of equipment; possess strong work ethics, dexterity and perform strenuous work as required. Ability to use computer, maintain records, and perform simple arithmetic calculations.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Job Qualifications System for Trades and Labor Occupations (X-118C, Qualification Standard Handbook) will be used in determining applicants' qualifications. There is no specific length of training or experience required; however, you must be able to demonstrate through the experience shown in your written resume and your responses to the Occupational Questionnaire that you possess the competencies to perform the duties of this position without more than normal supervision.
