Pump/Diesel Mechanic

JENNMAR Services is currently hiring Shop Mechanics for a local mine repair shop in Centertown, KY!

Basic Job Duties of Shop Mechanic:

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, lubricate and perform routine repairs.
• Perform maintenance and repair on various pieces of diesel heavy equipment including but not limited to Dozer, Excavators, Hoes, Articulating Trucks, Trailers, Standard Pickup Trucks, International Trucks and Mine Equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and machinery.
• Learn to customize and repair Mine Equipment.

Experience and Requirements:

• ·Diesel engine repair: Preferred 1 year or more
• Mechanic experience: Preferred 1 year or more
• Fabricators - Preferred 1 year or more
• ·Assist and Repair Mine Equipment or Heavy Equipment
• Willing to work toward getting Kentucky MSHA.

Schedule:

• Day Shift
• Monday - Friday (Saturdays when needed)
• 8 hour shifts with overtime available

Compensation:

• Pay starting at $20/hr, based on experience
