Purchasing Technician Responsibilities
- Perform all drug distribution duties
- Receiving order from all vendors and correctly process into system
- Responsible for inventory, place orders, checks drugs & supplies
- Enter medication orders in system accurately
- Maintains floor stock, restocking, removal of expired medications
- Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls
- Support and adherence policies for pharmacy standards
- Team player and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy
- Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor
Purchasing TechnicianQualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Long Term Care pharmacy experience preferred
- Purchasing/ordering pharmacy experience preferred
- Framework / ECM software knowledge a plus
- Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned
- Good organizational skills and detail oriented
- Ability to physically perform lifting
Hours: 8:00am- 4:00pm (Monday though Friday, rotating weekends)
