JOB OVERVIEW
Our center is customized to the City of Rochester and its emergency needs. Along with providing the first point of contact to the public, our staff is the on-call after hours number for DPW, first point of contact for our Project Good Morning members (a service for our elderly), coordinates Autism Awareness to the members of the city, along with various other services to the residents and guests of Rochester.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Answer Phones Emergency and Non-Emergency
- Dispatch on the Radio to Police, Fire and Ambulance
- Provide some general clerical work
REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be 18 years old, with a high school diploma or GED.
- Pass an extensive background check, polygraph and medical screening.
- Complete a 12-week paid training program.
BENEFITS
- $20.86 - $28.73/hr DOQ, competitive insurance benefits
- 5 days on/ 2 days off schedule – must be willing to work, nights, weekends and holidays if scheduled.

- We dispatch Police, Fire and EMS for the City of Rochester – all three departments; Have a mobile command unit which allows us to dispatch events such as the Granite State Fair; National Night Out;
