Public Health Nurse, Part-Time

PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE, PART-TIME

Rockaway Township, located in Morris County, is seeking a part-time, experienced Public Health Nurse. The Public Health Nurse works under general supervision to promote and protect the health of populations through the performance of core Public Health functions and the delivery of essential Public Health services. Responsibilities include communicable disease investigation and reporting, immunization audits, administration of vaccines with standing orders, well child services, adult health screening programs and follow up, Public Health emergency preparedness and response, and related work in collaboration with the Health Officer and staff as required. Excellent communication skills a must. Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Public Health Nursing Science, a NJ State Board of Nursing License, and a valid NJ driver’s license.
