The City of Houston’s Health and Human Services is partnering with Team1Medical Staffing to seek a Public Health Nurse who will help provide daily oversight of the Employee Health Office and keep it running efficiently by performing assessments, phlebotomy, and entering data into the database system. Public Health Nurse IV’s Responsibilities
- Provide daily oversight of the Employee Health Office
- Perform QA Assessment conduct chart
- Maintain vaccine supply and inventories
- Process laboratory reports and enter data in the database system
Public Health Nurse IV’s Qualifications
- Must be a Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing; A Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing is highly preferred
- A minimum of 4 years of experience as a practicing registered nurse is required; Phlebotomy experience is highly encouraged
- Intermediate to Advanced proficiency experience in Microsoft Office Programs is required
- Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills, organizational, and time management skills are highly preferred
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drugs screen and criminal background check.
