Public Area Manager

Position: Public Area Manager- Hotel Alex Johnson, Rapid City SD
Reports To: Chief Engineer

Pay: $43,000 Salary Yearly DOE

Seeking a Public Area Manager to promote a positive image of the property to Guests. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

· Consistently offer professional, friendly , and engaging service.  

· Work with the team to clean assigned public and back of house areas throughout the hotel.  

· Empty trash in all Public Areas and clean Public Area restrooms.  

· Clean all mirrors, the inside of windows, and wipe and dust all surfaces.  

· Vacuum carpets where needed.  

· Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards.  

· Report and assist with maintenance items.  

· Follow all safety and sanitation policies.  

· Ordering and keeping inventories of cleaning supplies for the department.  

Requirements: 

· Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.  

· Excellent communication and organizational skills.  

· Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
