Position Purpose: Complete preventative maintenance tasks including cleaning air conditioning units and filters, replacing wall and ceiling tiles, patching carpet, caulk and or grout in bathrooms, replacing light bulbs or fixtures, etc. Perform various other preventative maintenance functions in hotel guest rooms and record rooms that have been completed to ensure all rooms are completed in accordance with LHM standard. Able to enter and organize PM specs, history and work orders in CMM
POSITION FUNCTION:
Responsible for providing clean and immaculate Public Areas throughout the hotel, including lobby, public restrooms, hallways, corridors and the hotel front entrance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures complete guest satisfaction.
- Responsible for thoroughly cleaning public restroom sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, tiles, counters, walls, stalls, vents and or floors with cleaning agents by extending arms over head to reach all above areas. Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
- Responsible for sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors within the Public Areas of the hotel.
- Responsible for thoroughly dusting all furniture, pictures, and shelves, extending arms over head, bending and stooping as needed.
- Responsible for thoroughly cleaning and polishing all metal surfaces, applying pressure in repeated motion.
- Responsible for reporting suspicious persons or activities, hazardous conditions, etc. to the Executive Housekeeper, General Manager or Security.
- Responsible for turning over all lost and found items immediately to Supervisor.
- High school or equivalent education required.
- Prior hospitality experience.
- Prior housekeeping experience.
- Ability to perform the job duties and physical demands outlined in job description.
