We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Public Advocate to join our team. As a Public Advocate, you will be responsible for representing and advocating for the rights and interests of individuals in various legal and administrative proceedings. Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and guidance to individuals seeking help with legal matters
- Conduct thorough investigations to gather evidence and information related to cases
- Analyze complex legal documents and contracts
- Advocate for clients in court hearings, negotiations, and administrative proceedings
- Collaborate with legal professionals to develop strategies for cases
- Educate clients about their rights and legal options
- Maintain accurate and detailed case records
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients throughout the entire process
Requirements:
-With or without Public Adjuster License (preferred)
- Proven experience in fraud prevention detection, negotiation, and analysis
- In-depth knowledge of workers' compensation law and regulations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficient in using computer software for research and documentation purposes
- Familiarity with estimating software is a plus
