Creekside Village is seeking a Part-Time Weekend Activity Coordinatorto join our team. The ideal candidates must be devoted and compassionate about their chosen careers. The activity Coordinator will have experience working with individuals with dementia, have a highly enthusiastic personality, and be able to develop creative activities for our residents. Must be able to work every weekend, some evenings, and rotate Holidays.
Responsibilities of Activity Coordinator:
- Conducts and/or assists with assignments and assigned activity groups
- One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident/client needs
- Provides input and assistance with activity planning
- Escort residents to and from activities
- Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients, co-workers, public
- Leads residents group activities.
- Computer efficent.
Qualifications of Activity Coordinator:
- Experience is preferred
- High School Graduate or GED
- Clean driving record.
