StuartCo has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Tech Internship to join our Maintenance Team at our Corporate Team. As a Maintenance Tech Intern, you will travel between StuartCo's Multi-Housing communities throughout the Twin Cities to learn and perform basic maintenance, preventative maintenance, and apartment turns with the guidance of a crew leader.
Working Hours Available:
Monday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Tuesday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Wednesday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.
- Perform property maintenance or repairs as needed, which may include plumbing, electrical, keys, locks, appliances, lighting systems, carpentry, etc.
- Perform duties to turn apartment; cleaning, drywall repairs, painting, etc.
- Perform exterior maintenance including parking lot, and pool/recreation area maintenance, etc. (if applicable).
- Perform grounds care including trash pick-up, power washing sidewalks, etc.
- Maintain compliance and coordination with local, state, property, and Company safety regulations. Coordinate with police, fire, and utility inspectors.
- Understand and apply basic principles of good housekeeping and safety.
- Maintain adequate maintenance supply inventory.
Job Standards:
- 16+ years or older.
- Basic mechanical aptitude: experience with hand tools, carpentry, drywall/paint, groundskeeping, cleaning
- Ability to deal tactfully with residents, owners, managers, and other staff members, vendors, and the general public.
- Follow and adhere to organizational policies and procedures.
- Must have reliable transportation and travel between communities.
