PMPI is seeking Board Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) Psychiatrists to join our per-patient model. Shifts and Compensation:
- Work/Life Balance: Monday - Friday, no weekends, no nights, no on-call
- Full time and part time opportunities available
- Competitive per-diem: Up to $1400/day (full-time)
Requirements:
- 4 years of Psychiatry Residency
- Licenses/Certifications:
- MD/DO
- Adult Board Certification - must have within one year of joining the practice
- California Medical License
- California DEA certificate
- Ability to interact compassionately with a diverse population
- Bi-lingual or Multi-lingual with an emphasis on Spanish is a plus, but not a must
- Proficient in the use of Electronic Medical/Health Records (EMR/EHR) and e-prescribe Rx
Responsibilities:
As a valued team member, your expertise as a Psychiatrist will be instrumental in evaluating, diagnosing and delivering exceptional treatment to both adult and child psychiatric patients. In this dynamic position, you will conduct comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluations and follow-ups, leveraging cutting-edge telemedicine technologies to provide e-prescriptions or facilitate fax/mail Rx, ensuring utmost convenience and accessibility for our valued patients. Timely and efficient communication will be paramount, as you will be expected to promptly address messages and forms through our state-of-the-art EMR/EHR system. By collaborating closely with the Department of MH - County, Primary Care Community Health Centers, and Community Access Hospital Clinics, you will play a vital role in expanding mental health services to underserved communities, contributing to a transformative revolution in the delivery of psychiatric care.
