Position Responsibilities:
The Psychiatrist will examine, diagnose, and treat emotional disorders and psychiatric dysfunctions among patients of CMHC, Inc.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved school of medicine and Board eligible in Psychiatry.
- Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Indiana; relevant credentials to meet the requirements for clinical privileges as either a supervisee or an independent practitioner for general privileges.
- Some experience with a multi-disciplinary staff in a community based setting is preferred.
- Vaccinated for COVID-19 OR complete an exemption waiver
Day-to-Day Expectations:
- Engages in direct treatment and/or consultation services.
- Provides psychiatric consultation and supervision to CMHC staff as assigned.
- Shares in After-Hour Emergency Services call for the Inpatient Unit and participates in other emergency situations as assigned.
- Complies with the CMHC policies and procedures regarding clinical privileges and clinical supervision.
- Documents treatment in accordance with CMHC policies and procedures.
- Be physically present on-site during scheduled day-time work hours unless an alternative schedule is approved by the Medical Director
- Completes various administrative forms to assure fair and accurate data collection for billing, fee setting, MIS and other purposes in accordance with agency and program policies and procedures.
