You will also be coordinating client care, scheduling appointments, addressing client calls and medication questions, checking clients in and out, taking vitals (ex. blood pressure and pulse, height, weight, waist circumference, temperature), assisting with insurance pre-authorization, client charting, reconciling medications, collecting copays and fees, taking inventory of supplies and medication samples, performing urinalysis and other minor procedures, general office management duties, and caseload management of clients. The role will work out of one or more Provident office sites in the St. Louis metro area. This position will also serve as a member of the agency’s Safety Team.

In addition to being an important part of our Psychiatric Services Department, you will also spend 20% of your time at Provident’s Mary Ryder Home, an Intensive Residential Treatment Setting (IRTS) to provide oversight and coordination of nursing and medical protocols and individual needs. The IRTS program houses 5 to 16 older adult women with chronic and persistent mental illnesses. Work hours are Monday through Friday and align with Psychiatric Services department hours when clients are seen (between 7:30 AM and 8:00 PM).
