Responsibilities:
- Provides psychiatric/mental health care in an outpatient office setting.
- Flexible hybrid schedule with both virtual/and in-person appointments.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Front desk support staff for scheduling/insurance/phone calls.
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patients' mental health needs.
- Treats all mental health conditions and ages of the population, including but not limited to MDD, GAD, PTSD, ADHD, Mood Disorder, etc.
- Provides therapeutic techniques in addition to medication management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Requirements:
- Valid PMHNP license in CT.
- Valid CDS for CT.
- Valid malpractice insurance.
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications, treatments, and interventions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient care.
- Works well with electronic health records and multiple platforms required for patient communication, communication with other staff, etc.
Job Type:
- Part-time.
Pay:
- $90.00 - $100.00 per hour.
Expected hours:
- 20 – 30 per week.
