Position: Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Status: Full Time
Shift: Days There is no home call, no weekends or holidays
We are seeking a full-time board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to work in a hospital affiliated outpatient behavioral health clinic. This position works with our collaborative behavioral health team that includes a: MSW, LCPC, Psychologist, & PMHNP to provide Mental Health services to our community and current BGH clinics. There is no home call, no weekends or holidays.
Job Description:
The PMHNP will provide evidence-based outpatient psychiatric care to a broad population, including children, adults and geriatric patients. The provider may be asked to additionally serve in a consultation role for the hospital emergency department and medical surgical unit. The PMHNP provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and consultations, psychiatric diagnostic clarification, psychiatric medication management, and supportive psychotherapy in a collaborative behavioral health clinic that also includes an LSCW, LCPC, clinical psychologist and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

Education: Board Certified(through ANCC) PMHNP Minimum of two (2) years experience preferred
Licenses / certifications required: Current (or ability to obtain) State of Idaho Certified Nurse Practitioner and RN licensure, Idaho Board of Pharmacy Controlled Substance licensure, DEA license.
