Salary```Job Summary``` We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will provide comprehensive mental health care to patients of all ages. Your role will involve diagnosing and treating mental health disorders, prescribing medications, and implementing therapeutic interventions. ```Responsibilities``` - Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments - Diagnose and treat mental health disorders - Develop and implement individualized treatment plans - Prescribe and monitor medication regimens - Provide counseling and therapy to patients - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care - Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options - Document patient care accurately and maintain medical records ```Qualifications``` - Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health - Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice - Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Experience in providing psychiatric care to patients across the lifespan - Knowledge of Cerner electronic medical record system - Familiarity with ICD-10 coding for mental health diagnoses - Strong understanding of utilization management principles - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Preferred Qualifications: - Experience working in a medical office or outpatient setting - Knowledge of ophthalmology, primary care, or emergency room settings - Proficiency in medical terminology Join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals and make a difference in the lives of individuals struggling with mental health issues.
