SalaryCentra Lynchburg General Hospital has an opportunity available for a board-certified/board-eligible Psychiatrist to join a well-established Behavioral Health team as a Medical Director of Psychiatric Emergency Services in beautiful Lynchburg, Virginia. You will be part of a large, state-of-the-art facility that is part of Centra's ACO - a Population Health Services Organization that develops partnerships within the community. This role is split between administrative and clinical duties where you will lead the Behavioral Emergency Response Team (BERT) as well as promote interdisciplinary team collaboration. Additionally, the hospital is receiving a new emPATH unit is slated for completion in 2023 within the Emergency Department. - Compensation is between $350,000 and $405,000 per year
- Up to $100,000 in student loan repayment
- Sign on bonus as well as $10,000 relocation assistance

- Monday to Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Must be board-certified/board-eligible

Centra Lynchburg General Hospital is a 358-bed, award-winning emergency and critical care center specializing in Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Orthopedics, Oncology, Neurology and Neurosurgery. It is home to a national benchmark facility for cardiac care, a Level II Trauma Center, the region's only Certified National Primary Stroke Center, and a National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers. The hospital is also QOPI Certified and has achieved Magnet Status from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
