Description:
Responsible for maintaining an effective provider network and relationships with IPA/medical groups, physicians, and ancillary providers.
This position interfaces daily with providers and internal constituents to effectively resolve service issues in a timely manner.
-Identify possible VA providers from the existing PPO network and conduct outreach to providers who are not currently contracted for the government network.
-Reach out to providers (email, cold call, etc).
-Follow up with internal stakeholders to close the deal and resolve any issues.
-Servicing providers and responding to their inquiries
-Ensuring physicians are credentialed according to Blue Shield of California’s policies and procedures.
