This is a temporary position up to 12 months.
- DEFINITION/PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- The Provider Enrollment Coordinator facilitates the credentialing/recredentialing process for all practitioners and non-BHS practitioners for Berkshire Health Systems. The Credentialing Coordinator gathers and organizes practitioner information regarding specialty, education, state licensure, DEA registration, work history, practice detail, malpractice, hospital privileges, and other documentation as needed. The Provider Enrollment Coordinator will complete and file all necessary forms, documents and contracts required by individual insurers that BHS participates with. The provider Enrollment Coordinator works independently with regulatory agencies, insurers, hospitals, practitioners, and BHS employees so that providers are credentialed in a quick and efficient manner to ensure payment for services rendered.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum qualifications are required unless stated otherwise.)
- Experience:
- Minimum of three years experience in either reimbursement, credentialing, and/or billing within a health care setting required.
- Education and Training:
- High School Diploma required.
Associates' Degree Preferred.
- High School Diploma required.
